Cocktails in the Park fundraiser returns July 27
There’s still time to purchase advance tickets to the Batavia MainStreet fundraiser, “Cocktails in the Park.” The annual event will be 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday, July 27, at Appleton Park behind city hall.
“Enjoy a night of live music, appetizers, cocktails or mocktails, and raffles all while helping to support downtown programming and promotions,” said Batavia MainStreet Assistant Director Kristen Desler.
MainStreet staff and volunteers work to keep the local economy vibrant, assist in marketing and promotions, and operate the Batavia Farmers’ Market, Artisan Collective, and Batavia Boardwalk Shops.
Advance tickets are on sale now for $40 and can be purchased at downtownbatavia.com/event/cocktails-in-the-park/ through noon on July 26 or while supplies last.
Tickets include small plates from downtown restaurants, a collectible whiskey glass, live music, and entry to the event.
“We have 10 wonderful downtown Batavia restaurants serving appetizers this year including: cheeseburger eggrolls from The GOAT Burger + Cocktail Bar, crab rangoon and chicken tempura from Thai Village, a variety of desserts from Haylie B’s Bakery, and even Vegan options from New Moon Vegan,” Desler said.
New this year, drink and raffle tickets are interchangeable. Tickets are $7 or 10 for $60.
Raffle baskets include gift cards to Thorabella’s restaurant, Farmdog Flowers, Light & Pine Collective, Limestone Coffee & Tea, Sturdy Shelter Brewing, Grainology Brewstillery, and more.
Desler says, “Attending with friends? Purchase a Picnic Table package which includes a reserved picnic table, six admission tickets, six drink tickets for $350, a great value!”
Thanks to presenting sponsors Batavia Enterprises, Boyce Body Werks, and Gerald Subaru of North Aurora.
