Two hurt when Metra train strikes car in Ingleside
Two people suffered injuries not considered to be life-threatening when their vehicle was struck by a Metra commuter train late Sunday near Ingleside.
Fox Lake Fire Protection District officials said the crash happened at about 8 p.m. on the 26200 block of West Ingleside Avenue.
The driver and a passenger in the car were transported to Northwest Medicine McHenry Hospital.
No injuries were reported to anyone aboard the train.
