Input sought on plans to improve Riverwoods Road

The Lake County of Division of Transportation is seeking input on plans to improve Riverwoods Road from Deerfield Road to Route 22 and Duffy Lane from Riverwoods Road to west of the Interstate 94 bridge.

The project is expected to include a fresh new asphalt surface, evaluation of wider road shoulders, improved roadway drainage and enhanced nonmotorized travel opportunities to include a new path along Duffy Lane.

A virtual forum has been created to share ideas and questions through July 12.
