Roadwork coming to Edgewater Drive in Bloomingdale

Roadwork along portions of Edgewater Drive and Lakeview Lane in Bloomingdale is scheduled to begin Wednesday, weather permitting.

Crews are set to replace curbs, concrete driveways and sidewalks. The project also will include removal and replacement of asphalt roadway; drainage structure rehabilitation; new roadway striping; and landscape restoration, according to a village Facebook post.

Crews will work on Edgewater Drive, from Bloomingdale Road to Glen Ellyn Road, and Lakeview Lane, from Edgewater Drive to Circle Avenue.

Drivers should watch out for daily lane closures in construction zones. The project is expected to wrap up by early October.
