Donate Blood at Schaumburg’s Community Blood Drive June 13

The village of Schaumburg encourages the public to participate in the next Community Blood Drive that will take place from 2:30-7:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 13, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 1320 W. Schaumburg Road.

Interested blood donor participants should call (877) 258-4825 or register online at vitalant.org and use sponsor code ORD0SH98. Appointments are highly recommended to reduce wait times; however, walk-ins are welcome.

Participating donors will receive a Culver’s Give a Pint, Get a Pint coupon. All donors will also be entered into a drawing for a chance to win one of four $25 Jewel-Osco gift cards.

Schaumburg partners with Vitalant to offer five blood drives a year for the community to help with blood donation. For more information about the village’s community blood drives, please visit schaumburg.com/blooddrives, dial 311 in the village, or call the Nursing Division at (847) 923-3766.
