Public hearing May 30 in Northbrook on Lake-Cook Road path

The Lake County Division of Transportation is hosting a public meeting from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 30, about for the Lake-Cook Road Path.

The meeting will take place at the Bernard Weinger JCC, 300 Revere Drive in Northbrook. Its purpose is to share details of the alternatives that have been advanced from the concept study and receive public feedback.

The project aims to connect the bike path gap along Lake-Cook Road between the Skokie Valley Path and North Branch Trail at Turnbull Woods Court. The connection would provide users access to key destinations like the Chicago Botanic Garden, Green Bay Road Trail, Robert McClory Path, Ravinia, Lake Michigan and the Metra station.
