Find bargains in clothing, household items and more at Grace Lutheran’s rummage sale May 17-18

Members of Grace Lutheran Church of Lily Lake will be hosting their semi-annual rummage sale on Friday, May 17, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday, May 18, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Members and friends have been doing spring cleaning, downsizing, purging and gathering their donations.

Grace Lutheran has held sales in the spring and autumn months for over a decade.

Come and find your treasures, for kitchen, bedroom, living room, furniture, children’s toys, books, outdoor goods, tools.

In addition to jewelry, shoes and scarves, there will be plenty of clothing for infants, children and teens, as well as men’s and women’s clothing. Check out the selection of brand new purses, still with tags on.

There will be a "half-price" sale of most items starting at noon on Saturday.

Many items are $1. The popular "Fill-A-Bag for $5" with clothing will take place in the church pavilion.

The rummage sales help with some costs of church building maintenance and repairs (leaky roofs, windows, lighting) as well as continuing a variety of ministries.

If you are unfamiliar with Lily Lake, you can find the church at 5N600 Hanson Road, just off Empire Road, near routes 64 and 47 in western St. Charles. Use the parking lot at the rear entrance to church.

The church also welcomes all for Sunday worship at 9:30 a.m. Starting June 9, the services will be outdoors under the pavilion.

For information on the church, now in its 130th year of ministry to the community, call the church office at (630) 365-6751 or visit graceoflilylake.org or facebook.com/GraceOfLilyLake/.
