Health & Wellness Fair to offer hands-on experiences May 18 in Bloomingdale

The Bloomingdale Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with Stratford Crossing Shopping Center and the Bloomingdale Park District, is hosting a Health & Wellness Fair on Saturday, May 18, from noon to 3 p.m.

The event will take place at Stratford Crossing Shopping Center, Gary and Schick roads in Bloomingdale. This is a free event to attend offering an opportunity for individuals and families to explore the many facets of well-being and discover resources to support their health journey.

The Health & Wellness Fair aims to promote holistic well-being and healthy living within the community. Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with a diverse range of vendors representing fitness studios, gyms, beauty, acupuncture, therapists and many more. Through interactive booths and engaging demonstrations, participants will explore various fitness techniques.

“We are excited to bring together the community for a day dedicated to health and wellness,” said Cindy Allston, president of the Bloomingdale Chamber of Commerce. “Our goal is to inspire and empower individuals to prioritize their well-being and adopt healthy lifestyle habits.”

In addition to fitness activities, the fair will feature therapists specializing in mental health and self-care, providing valuable resources and support to attendees. Guests are encouraged to bring their mats and join in the demonstrations for a hands-on experience.

The Health & Wellness Fair promises to be a fun-filled event suitable for all ages. Families are welcome to enjoy entertainment including face painting and caricature artists for the kids.
