Meet Warrenville artist who created the ‘Tribute’ sculpture during May 11 dedication

The city of Warrenville’s Tourism and Arts Commission will hold a meet-and-greet with artist Jen Kresl on Saturday, May 11.

It will be at 10 a.m. in the Bob Walters Commons between city hall and the public library on Stafford Place.

Kresl, owner of Steel Envy custom welding studio in Warrenville, created the city’s recently installed piece of outdoor sculpture, the winged horse “Tribute.”

The schedule includes a short dedication of the new sculpture; time to visit with the artist to chat informally about her artwork and ask questions; and photo opportunities, coloring pages, and an activity sheet for kids.
