Street closing for 59/Grand Avenue intersection improvement in Fox Lake

Washington Street in Fox Lake will be closed to through traffic starting 7 a.m. Monday for the Lake County Division of Transportation’s Route 59 and Grand Avenue intersection improvement project.

The road will remain closed to through traffic for the duration of the project, with an anticipated reopening in the spring of 2025.

The detour route is Route 59 to Devlin Road to Rollins Road. Local traffic will be allowed from the north and south. The work zone will be closed to all traffic.
