Woodfield Mall to host Go Green event in Grand Court April 20

Woodfield Mall and its retailers will celebrate Earth Week with family-friendly crafts, recycling, and educational opportunities from 1 to 3 p.m. April 20 in the mall’s Grand Court.

During the free Go Green event, families are invited to decorate a planter pot, participate in a recycling craft and Earth Day coloring activities, and engage with a range of eco-conscious retailers.

Radio Flyer will offer a chance to win an Atlas Wagon, made from 137 recycled plastic bottles. Lush Fresh Handmade Cosmetics will offer samples of 100% natural products. The North Face will provide information on its Renewed Initiative and Remade Collection. Victoria’s Secret will have samples of the brand’s sustainable clothing and beauty lines. Mia’s Wish will offer its natural homemade beauty and wellness products. And Yu Kids Island will provide a sustainability craft.

After visiting all the retailer tables, guests will receive a complimentary reusable tote bag filled with gifts from the participating stores.
