Learn about new Leadership Academy on April 20 in West Chicago

The Western DuPage Chamber of Commerce’s Young Professionals Group is creating a new initiative to prepare high school students for their post-graduation goals.

During the fall of 2024, the highly anticipated Leadership Academy will provide educational workshops, connect students with mentors, and help create leaders of the future.

On Saturday, April 20, join a free information session by the Young Professionals Group, with former Lt. Gov. Evelyn Sanguinetti, state Sen. Karina Villa, and other business leaders from the area.

The session will highlight key areas of the program. Hear directly from business leaders from a variety of backgrounds, including military service, entrepreneurship, workforce development, the traditional college route, and more.

Details will be provided regarding the mission, outline, and focus of the new Leadership Academy, including how to apply for the fall 2024 start date. If you’re a high school junior or senior who is not sure what to do after high school, or if you’d like to hear from experienced professionals, then this event is for you. Parents are welcome to attend as well.
