Winfield residents invited to State of Village address

Winfield officials will present the State of the Village address next week.

Business owners and residents can attend the address starting at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, April 11, at the Winfield Park District’s Charles Beggs Activity Center, 0N020 County Farm Road.

Village leaders will highlight accomplishments and future goals. Attendees also are expected to hear from developers of a proposed downtown apartment complex. Dubbed “Winfield Reserve,” the complex would be built southeast of the intersection of Jewell Road and Church Street.

Refreshments will be served.
