Symphony847 hosts virtual 5K fundraiser: Run for a Cause

Symphony847 announces its inaugural Virtual 5K Fundraiser, “Run for a Cause,” happening virtually from May 12-18.

Participate from anywhere and run, walk or crawl to support music education in the community. Symphony847 offers free tickets to all students through college, and participation will help them expand their educational initiatives.

Symphony847 aims to:

• Host Side By Side concerts with District 128 students.

• Provide access to University of Wisconsin Whitewater Resources, including masterclasses and ensembles led by Dr. Chris Ramaekers.

• Offer sectionals and chamber concerts for students led by Symphony847 musicians.

• Organize concerto competitions with scholarships and performance opportunities for the winners.

• Feature compositions by students at their concerts.

Registration closes on April 30. Early bird pricing is available until April 1. Don’t miss this opportunity to make a difference through music and fitness.
