Northbrook Chamber celebrates ‘The Magic of Small Business’ at annual meeting

Community and business leaders came together on March 11 to celebrate the achievements of outstanding Northbrook businesses. The Northbrook Chamber of Commerce & Industry’s annual meeting and business awards, sponsored by Northbrook Bank & Trust Co., emphasized the creativity and dedication of local entrepreneurs whose efforts lift the entire community.

Held at the Renaissance Chicago North Shore Hotel, the event featured a networking cocktail hour, dinner, installation of the chamber’s 2024 board of directors, and a program hosted by Howard Wallach of A-Z Entertainment. Among the evening’s speakers was Northbrook Chamber board Chairwoman Amy Kahhat, VP/Multi Market manager for First Bank Chicago, who offered reflections on the organization’s successful initiatives.

“I am so proud of the work the chamber does for our members as well as the entire community,” said Kahhat. “Our dynamic programming, publications and outreach, along with powerful networking opportunities, create an environment where business can thrive. Plus, our members are warm, giving people who care about each other and the community.”
