Gary UMC to host Easter egg hunt at Memorial Park

Children will have the chance to hunt for thousands of candy-filled Easter eggs on Sunday, March 31, at 10:15 a.m. in Memorial Park, 225 Karlskoga Ave. in Wheaton.

On Easter Sunday, Gary United Methodist Church, 224 N. Main St. in Wheaton, will host the event between its 9 and 11 a.m. worship.

The church also invites families to a Maundy Thursday meal and worship at 5:30 p.m. on March 28 and Good Friday worship at 7 p.m. on March 29.

The church offers 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. Sunday worship in the sanctuary. The 9 a.m. worship is complete with Kids’ Church and nursery care, plus livestreaming and recorded worship at garychurch.org. The 11 a.m. worship has a more casual feel featuring church musicians. At 10 a.m., you can enjoy a coffee hour called “Special Blend” plus Sunday school for all ages.

With deep roots in the community since 1853, Gary Church has vibrant music, kids, youth and adult ministries, plus opportunities for local, national and global missions. For more information, go to garychurch.org or contact the church office at office@garychurch.org.
