Dave & Buster’s to open at Streets of Woodfield in Schaumburg Feb. 26
Dave & Buster’s will open its newest suburban location at The Streets of Woodfield, 601 N. Martingale Road in Schaumburg, Feb. 26.
The new location will be the fifth Dave & Buster’s in Illinois. The entertainment and restaurant venue in the former site of Gameworks brings 38,883 square feet of gaming, food, and entertainment space in an interactive and immersive environment.
Schaumburg officials said $7 million of renovations have gone into the new location.
To celebrate the opening, the first 100 people in line at Dave & Buster’s from 6 to 9 p.m. March 1 will receive Power Cards with Unlimited Video Game Play for the evening. The celebration continues with live music and a radio remote event.
Dave & Buster’s Schaumburg will feature more than 100 of the latest arcade games, a chef-crafted food menu, innovative drinks, and a state-of-the-art sports bar.
“We are so excited to open a new Dave & Buster’s location in Schaumburg,” General Manager Casey Fitzpatrick said. “As Schaumburg’s premier entertainment attraction, we look forward to hosting the community for major sporting event watch parties on the biggest and best screens and offering new and classic arcade games and delicious menu items, such as our Backwoods Blueberry Lemonade and Buster’s Bacon Burger.”
Gameworks closed on the site at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 and never reopened.
For members of the military and first responders, Dave & Buster’s will provide a discount of 15% off food & nonalcoholic beverages with a valid I.D.
The Texas-based company was founded in 1982 and operates 162 Dave & Buster’s venues and 58 Main Event locations in North America.
