Hope Presbyterian Church welcomes new pastor

The Rev. R. Keith Beauchamp has been called to serve as pastor at Hope Presbyterian Church in Wheaton, effective Feb. 1.

Join the church on Sunday, Feb. 4, to hear Rev. Beauchamp's sermon “Let Us Go to the Neighboring Towns,” based on Psalm 147 and Mark, 1:29-39. Worship is at 10 a.m. Sundays at the church, 1771 S. Wiesbrook Road. You also can watch the services on the church’s Facebook page or YouTube channel.

In 1994, he was ordained and served as an associate minister at both Second Baptist Church in Maywood and Second Baptist Church in Lafayette, Indiana for 11 years. Pastor Beauchamp has an extensive background in ministry and has served several churches in the area, including as senior pastor of Bethel New Life Church in Wheaton.

Beauchamp holds degrees in accounting, business administration with a minor in music, college administration and divinity from six different institutions of higher education.

Pastor Beauchamp and his wife, LaVerne, have two children, Autumn and Adam.

On Saturday, Feb. 3, the little red truck will be in the church parking lot collecting personal care items for the Peoples Resource Center food pantry in Wheaton. Stop by between 10 a.m. and noon with donations such as shampoo, bar soap, deodorant, toothpaste and toothbrushes.

Join Bible study at 6 p.m. Thursdays.
