North Central College names new dean

North Central College recently named David Green as the dean of the School of Business and Entrepreneurship.

Green currently serves as the division chair of accounting, finance, management information systems and economics at Governors State University in University Park. He also is a professor of management information systems at GSU.

During his 16 years at GSU, Green was involved in strategic planning initiatives and ongoing accreditation and led recent efforts to develop a master’s degree program in business analytics. He also has more than 20 publications in peer-reviewed journals.

“Dr. Green is a highly respected researcher, educator and administrator who will have an immediate impact on our students, faculty in the college’s School of Business and Entrepreneurship,” said Abiódún Gòkè-Pariolá, North Central College’s provost and vice president for academic affairs.

Green’s appointment is effective July 1.
