Mercury-Illinois contracts pro bono with Illinois Alliance of Boys & Girls Clubs

Collaboration will benefit Boys & Girls Clubs across Illinois

Springfield, Ill.– The Illinois Alliance of Boys & Girls Clubs (Alliance) is announcing a new partnership with Mercury-Illinois, effective Jan. 1, 2024.

Mercury-Illinois, a high-stakes public strategy firm, will represent the Alliance’s interests pro bono before the Illinois legislature, the Executive Branch, agencies across state government, as well as applicable federal government engagements.

“On behalf of the Illinois Alliance of Boys and Girls Clubs, I am pleased to announce that we have entered into an agreement with Mercury-Illinois to represent us as lobbyists in Springfield and to provide marketing, public relations, and government relations functions pro bono,” said Alliance board president Alan Winslow.

Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) is committed to tackling the challenges facing youth in our nation. Within the structure of the BGCA, the Alliance works to position Boys & Girls Clubs in Illinois as one of the premier youth development advocates in the state.

Mercury-Illinois will advocate to provide access to high quality, out of school time programs and experiences that equip young people in Illinois with the tools to succeed.
