Authorities: Four killed in the South Suburbs after domestic-related shooting, police have a suspect

A man shot four people dead in a “domestic-related” incident in the South Suburbs, officials said Sunday.

Police arrived on the scene shortly before 11:30 a.m. and found four women dead from apparent gunshot wounds inside the home.

The four women were the man’s wife and three daughters, police told ABC 7.

The Cook County Medical Examiner identified the victims as Majeda Kassem, 59; Halema Kassem, 25; Zahia Kassem, 25; and Hanan Kassem, 24, according to ABC 7.

Tinley Park police reported that the man is in custody and the scene is secure. A weapon has also been retrieved from the scene.

The shooting occurred in the 7400 block of 173rd Place.
