Help Elburn update zoning ordinance with short survey

The village of Elburn is updating its 30-year old zoning ordinance and would like to know what types of developments residents would like to see in the future.

Elburn and local stakeholders have embarked on a community-based process to update and modernize the village’s zoning ordinance.

The project aligns Elburn’s development regulations, land-use goals, and community vision with its comprehensive plan.

Topics to be addressed through the zoning ordinance include zoning districts, uses, applications (such as special uses, variances, and amendments), parking, landscaping, definitions, and the zoning map.

Public input is crucial to developing an ordinance that is driven by the needs and vision of the community.
