Local orthodontist nationally recognized for gifting smiles

The gift of a smile is a truly priceless one. No one knows that better than Dr. Bryan Nakfoor.

The owner of NAK4 Orthodontics was featured in a recent issue of Orthotown magazine, a national publication for orthodontic professionals. A patient of the practice captured the magazine’s attention for having received free orthodontic care from the NAK4 team. Something you don’t see very often.

This particular case, and many like it, was the product of Dr. Nakfoor’s mission to make treatment more accessible to those who need it most.

NAK4 Orthodontics became a proud partner in the Smiles Change Lives program which promotes and provides access to life-changing orthodontic treatment for children from low-income families. The program has treated more than 20,000 children since it began in 1997.

Over 700 orthodontists across the country participate, and Dr. Nakfoor is pleased to be one of the significant contributors in the Chicago area.

“Seeing the payoff of what we do, truly transform a patient’s life, there is no greater reward in our profession,” said Dr. Nakfoor.

Alexis Barclay, director of Provider Services for Smiles Change Lives, visited NAK4 Orthodontics in Arlington Heights earlier this year, to thank the team for their dedication to the program over the years.

“If it wasn’t for our network of generous orthodontists, we would not be where we are today. We are incredibly fortunate to have providers like Dr. Nakfoor to partner with us in this mission,” said Barclay.

Locally owned and operated by Dr. Nakfoor, Nak4 Orthodontics offers a full array of orthodontic services, including braces and Invisalign, as well as early interceptive treatments for issues that can emerge in young children. But they treat smiles of all ages. Their state-of-the-art practice offers complimentary consultations in each of their three locations — Arlington Heights, Park Ridge and Barrington — with the option to start treatment the same day.
