Donate blood at Schaumburg’s Community Blood Drive Jan. 23

The Village of Schaumburg encourages the public to participate in its next Community Blood Drive that will take place from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 23 at The Barn, 231 S. Civic Drive in Schaumburg.

Interested blood donor participants should call 1-877-25VITAL (1-877-258-4825) or register online at vitalant.org and use sponsor code ORD0SH98. Appointments are highly recommended to reduce wait times; however, walk-ins are welcome.

Participating donors will receive a Culver’s Give a Pint, Get a Pint coupon. All donors will also be entered into a drawing for a chance to win one of four $25 Pilot Pete’s gift cards.

Schaumburg partners with Vitalant to offer five blood drives a year for the community to help with blood donation. For more information about the village’s community blood drives, please visit villageofschaumburg.com dial 311 in the village, or call the Nursing Division at (847) 923-3766.
