Wheaton mayor to give state of the city address

Wheaton Mayor Phil Suess will deliver his annual State of the City address later this month.

Suess will highlight recent projects and preview what’s to come in the new year during his speech at the Wheaton Chamber of Commerce's monthly luncheon. The event will start at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 18, at Arrowhead Golf Club, 26W151 Butterfield Road.

To attend, tickets are $35 for chamber members and their guests. Admission is $45 for non-members. The registration deadline is Jan. 7. To register, visit wheatonchamber.com.

Suess is in his second term as the city’s mayor. He ran unopposed in last spring’s municipal elections.
