Hear a personal history of St. James Farm Forest Preserve

Join the Glen Ellyn Historical Society as they present Kevin Davis, the grandson of manager Frank Schlick, sharing the history of the farm his family worked on.

The program will be at 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 19, at the Glen Ellyn History Center, 800 N. Main St.

St. James Farm Forest Preserve has a rich history in DuPage County that stretches back over 180 years. Davis provides a personal and intimate overview as well as photographic history of the farm.

This includes art, architecture and a history of the Chauncey and Brooks McCormick family. Since 2003, Davis has been a volunteer lead researcher and interpreter for the St. James Farm Forest Preserve that is part of the DuPage County Forest Preserve District.
