Mount Prospect seeking input on traffic calming project

Mount Prospect is updating its Traffic Calming Program, which addresses concerns of excessive speeding, cut-through traffic, and pedestrian safety in neighborhoods.

The village is seeking community input on a draft of the new program, “The Friendly Neighborhood Streets Program.” The program brings a more holistic approach to traffic calming to make streets friendlier for all.

Comments are due end of the day on Jan. 12.
