Mount Prospect offering residents property tax relief

Mount Prospect is offering property tax relief to qualifying owners of single-family residences.

The program is available to households with a gross annual income equal to or less than $27,180 for one person or $36,620 for two or more. The rebate is equal to 50% of the village's portion of the resident's 2022 property tax bill, up to $100.

Assistance in completing an application will be available in the finance department at village hall, 50 S. Emerson St., from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 12, and 9:30 a.m. to noon, Thursday, Dec. 14.
