Weed Ladies winter sale opens Nov. 30

The Weed Ladies Winter Sale features creative seasonal floral arrangements for sale. Each one-of-a-kind silk or dried floral creation has been designed by the Weed Ladies of the Naperville Heritage Society volunteer group.

The winter sale will be 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays, Nov. 30 to Dec. 8, in the Daniels House at Naper Settlement, 523 S. Webster St. in Naperville. There will be extended hours during the Holly Jolly Days from 3 to 7 p.m. Fridays, Dec. 8 and 15, and noon to 5 p.m. Saturdays, Dec. 9 and 16.

Purchasing a floral arrangement from the Weed Ladies benefits Naper Settlement's education and preservation programs.

Admission to the sale is free. Enter Naper Settlement at the Pre-Emption House main entrance and inform the Guest Services team that you are attending the sale.

Parking is available in the municipal lot across the street, in Naper Settlement's visitor's lot (at the corner of Webster Street and Porter Avenue), or along Webster Street. There can be no parking in Naper Settlement's Chapel lot due to weddings.

Do you have a green thumb? The Weed Ladies could use your help. They are always looking for folks to help with sales and creating arrangements. They also need volunteers to maintain the garden on the grounds. Volunteers must be 18 or older.
