Alpine Biergarten returns to Buffalo Creek Brewing

Buffalo Creek Brewing in historic downtown Long Grove has once again transformed its picturesque, pine-forest lined grounds into a winter biergarten retreat straight out of Germany. The backyard expanse is outfitted with cozy benches and tables, twinkle lighting, fire pits and holiday décor to set the vibe.

Launching on Black Friday and running throughout the winter season, the Alpine Biergarten also features winter-themed outdoor games, live music and food trucks, outdoor bar and table service, patio and barrel table heat lamps, Christmas trees, winter apparel for sale like snow hats, flannels and fleeces, and over two acres of winter wonderland to explore. Inside the taproom, BCB also leans into the theme with its Alpine Lodge concept - a cozy winter gingerbread-themed lodge atmosphere for those who prefer to stay indoors.

Opening weekend, Nov 24 through 26, will feature: Two new beer releases from brewer Mike Marr on Friday, outdoor music by L&M on Saturday, Kurbside Pizza and Coops Fresh Chicken food trucks on Friday and Saturday, respectively, and holiday carolers embracing the Christmas season.
