'Paris! The Show' brings the music of Piaf, Brel, Baker and Chevalier to The MAC Nov. 18

"Paris! The Show," a tribute to the greatest French songs of the post-war era, will be coming to the McAninch Arts Center at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 18.

Created by the producers of the popular "Piaf! The Show," songs featured in this production include those made popular by Edith Piaf, Jacques Brel, Josephine Baker, Maurice Chevalier and more. This production is performed entirely in French.

"Paris! The Show" revolves around the story of Emily, a young American girl who dreams of becoming a famous artist arrives in Paris. In Montmartre, she will cross paths with Edith Piaf, becoming her friend, confidante, and soulmate, and will fall in love with Charles, a young singer living in Pigalle. A romance will blossom in a city where love conquers all.

This production features a beautiful scenic set design that transports guests from Montmartre to the stages of the great Parisian cabarets during the post-World War II era. With its live band, chic costumes and exceptional cast "Paris! The Show" will have audiences feeling as though they are strolling the banks of the Seine.

The cast features vocalists Stéphanie Impocco as Emily and Nathalie Lermitte as Edith Piaf, a role MAC audiences saw her perform when "Piaf! The Show" hit the MAC stage in 2022.

They will be joined by vocalist Jules Grison as Charles. Other members of the cast include dancers Karine Soucheire and Jean-François Duboug, percussionist Benoit Pierron, accordionist Frédéric Viale, pianist and music director/arranger Philippe Villa and double bass player Giliard Lopez. Creator and producer for the show is Gil Marsalla, who has succeeded in making French musical heritage a worldwide success through the shows he produces and directs.

Tickets are $50-$60. For tickets or more information, visit AtTheMAC.org or call (630) 942-4000. The box office is open noon to 6 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday, and two hours prior to performances.
