Schaumburg Township GOP to honor veterans, first responders Saturday

The Schaumburg Township Republican Organization will salute veterans and first responders at its next breakfast Saturday, Oct. 28, with special guest retired Army Maj. Gen. David Harris leading off with an insider's view of serving community, country and family.

Also speaking briefly will be Schaumburg Fire Chief Jim Walters and Schaumburg Deputy Police Chief Sean Green.

The breakfast takes place from 7:50 to 10 a.m. at Chandler's Chophouse, 401 N. Roselle Road in Schaumburg.

Mayors Rod Craig of Hanover Park, Tom Dailly of Schaumburg and Bill McLeod of Hoffman Estates will provide some brief remarks on what veterans and first responders have meant to their communities.

Reservations are requested and may be made directly online at STGOP.org or by calling (224) 353-6543.

If you are a Schaumburg Township veteran or a first responder working in Schaumburg Township, your breakfast will be complimentary.

To help defray the cost of the hot breakfast buffet, we ask for a $20 contribution from STRO members registering in advance and a $25 contribution from nonmembers.
