Learn about historic homes in Dundee Township on Nov. 5

On Sunday, Nov. 5, join the Dundee Township Historical Society Museum, 426 Highland Ave. in West Dundee, for "Historic Sites Revisited."

The program at 2 p.m. will highlight area homes that met the criteria and were awarded plaques in past years.

Buildings that will be presented are the Delos Dunton House in Carpentersville, the Beu House in East Dundee, the Hunt Building in West Dundee, the Moses Thompson House in Sleepy Hollow, and the Farrell Stone Cottage in the countryside.

All area residents are invited to attend this recognition program to learn about some of the earlier residents of Dundee Township, popular structure styles of the past, and ways to keep or restore their homes to the original architectural design.

There is no admission charge, but donations are welcome.

For more information, call the museum at (847) 428-6996 or visit dundeetownshiphistorical.org or www.facebook.com/DundeeTownshipHistoricalSociety.
