Schaumburg Airport holding Hops & Props celebration Saturday evening

Schaumburg Regional Airport will host its Hops & Props 2023 celebration from 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday at 905 W. Irving Park Road in Schaumburg.

The event showcases local brews, drinks, food and aircraft from across the Midwest.

Vintage aircraft, live music and local vendors will be in the hangar and on the ramp for all to enjoy.

Visitors can check in at one of the two entrance areas with a government-issued ID.

Tickets can be purchased in advance for $5 each, plus processing fees, through Saturday.

Registered ticket holders will be on a roster list for the event and should make sure their party is available at check-in.

There will be no admission without a valid photo ID, and admittance is restricted to adults 21 and older.

Food, beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase.

Casual attire is recommended.

The event is held rain or shine.
