Palatine Twp. nonprofits can apply for funding

Palatine Township will once again provide social service organizations that serve township residents the opportunity to apply for funding.

Applications are available at PalatineTownship-il.gov. The deadline to submit applications is end of business on Oct. 13.

All social service agencies who apply must have a representative available to attend a meeting at the township to present to the Human Needs Committee. The application and instructions are found on the Palatine Township website.

The completed application form can be emailed to the attention of Anna Chychula, township administrator, at HNC@PalatineTownship-il.gov or mailed attention to: Palatine Township, Attn: Anna Chychula, 721 S. Quentin Road, Palatine, IL 60067.

The Palatine Township Human Needs Committee will review all applications. Agency presentations to determine eligibility and funding levels will take place in October and November.

The applications should be for programs that serve Palatine Township residents. Agencies must be able to document their impact and results, as well as the populations they serve in Palatine Township.

The following communities are part of the township: Palatine, Rolling Meadows, Inverness, Arlington Heights, Hoffman Estates, Barrington, South Barrington and Schaumburg.
