Palatine Township Senior Center's 50th Anniversary Fundraiser at Sanfilippo Mansion: Be Amazed!

The Palatine Township Senior Center has been celebrating its 50th Anniversary this year! Two Open House celebrations took place at the center this year where we invited the community in to thank them for their support, and to come celebrate with us and see how we've grown and changed over the years. The year is coming down to this final event, our most important, and our biggest fundraiser of the year at the Sanfilippo Mansion.
Guests will be able to view the Premier Collections of restored antique music machines, phonographs & music boxes, arcade and gambling machines, and see the beautiful chandeliers and art glass, the coin-operated pianos, and the violin machines & dance organs. There is no experience quite like this!
This afternoon event, being held from 1-5:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 9, will begin with a viewing of the impressive and unique musical collections of the estate and features a special organ concert on the world's largest pipe organ, sponsored by PTSCC's Board pf Directors. Afterward, enjoy heavy appetizers and two hours of complimentary beer and wine service. At the Carousel House, you'll have the opportunity to ride the Eden Palais Carousel imported from France, and explore the steam engine collection including a restored 1800s "Victorian Caboose" and Pullman Palace Car. This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience so purchase your tickets by Friday, Sept. 1st at noon. Be amazed!
The ticket price is $135, with a cost reduction when four or more tickets are bought for $125 each. They can be purchased at the center, 505 S Quentin Road, Palatine, or online at www.ptscc.org.
