Concours d'Elegance returns to Geneva's Third Street Aug. 27
Classic car enthusiasts will gather together again this year in Geneva and view a beautiful collection of antique, classic and modern automobiles.
The Geneva Concours d'Elegance will be 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 27.
Participants from all over the nation will display their prized automobiles on Third Street, from State Street to South Street.
Some cars will be awarded one of the coveted "Benz" trophies.
Third Street is the heart of Geneva's downtown shopping district lined with shops, restaurants, parks and historical buildings.
This event is open to the public at no cost.

It will feature: Celebrating the Springfield Rolls-Royce; Continental - Edsel Ford's Dream; Cars of the Classic Era; Micro Cars - Meeting the Need; Tuner Cars - Powering Today's Excitement (Fast and Furious); and SCCA Chicagoland Celebrating 75 Years of Momentum.
The awards ceremony will be at 2:30 p.m. at Franklin and South Third streets.
The beneficiary of this year's event is the LivingWell Cancer Resource Center.
