Find out how you can join CLC's musical ensembles
Bring your musical talents to College of Lake County and join an instrumental ensemble this fall. Spots are available for the concert band, wind ensemble and the jazz ensembles.
"I am really excited about the upcoming season," music instructor Dr. Michael Flack said. "Each season brings something new. The wind ensemble will be playing challenging movie themes familiar to many listeners, and the jazz ensemble will perform with trumpeter and composer Tim Hagans, one of the most unique and versatile improvisers in the world. These are not to be missed performances the whole family will enjoy."

"The ensembles draw from all over the surrounding area," wind ensemble member Steven Loerch said. "Besides the CLC students and current and retired music teachers, the group is made up of people who can perform music at a high level but pursued a career outside of music. This is really a dream come true for all of us who had once considered music as a career, but life did not take us in that direction."
