Local historical fiction author Renee Rosen to visit Huntley Area Public Library July 27

Renee Rosen, bestselling author of historical fiction, is coming to the Huntley Area Public Library this Thursday, July 27, from 1 to 3 p.m. for a special presentation.

Rosen's books include Chicago based stories such as What the Lady Wants, White Collar Girl, Windy City Blues, and Dollface, as well as The Social Graces (a story about the Astors and Vanderbilts,) Park Avenue Summer (a story about Helen Gurley Brown, former editor-in-chief of Cosmopolitan magazine,) and her newest novel Fifth Avenue Glamour Girl (a story about Estee Lauder). She is currently working on a new novel about the creator of the Barbie doll, Ruth Handler, coming in 2025.

Rosen is a native of Akron, Ohio, and currently lives in Chicago.
