Celebrate Creativity and Art at the Artisan Market at Phase Three

Lake Zurich, IL - July 3, 2023 - Phase Three Brewing, a renowned craft brewery in Lake Zurich, is excited to announce its first-ever Artisan Market, taking place on Saturday, July 8, 2023, from 12:00pm to 7:00pm. This unique event, presented in collaboration with the Streetz Artz Alliance, promises to deliver an expertly curated mix of handmakers, local artists, and a wide range of services, providing attendees with an unforgettable experience.

The Artisan Market at Phase Three will be held indoors, inside the brewery's barrel room and back brewing area, ensuring a unique experience for attendees regardless of weather conditions. Located at 932 Donata Ct, Lake Zurich, IL, Phase Three Brewing welcomes all ages to participate in this free-to-attend event.

"This market is a true celebration of creativity and art," says Brianne Adelman, cohost for the market and member of the Streetz Artz Alliance. "We are thrilled to introduce the artists of the Streetz Artz Alliance to a whole new crowd!"

The event will feature over three dozen local artists and makers, each showcasing their unique creations. From original artwork and decor to woodwork, glasswork, handmade jewelry, and more, attendees will find a vast array of products, including tarot readings and caricature artistry. The Streetz Artz Alliance brings together talented artisans and makers to support small businesses and create an exceptional shopping experience.

The Streetz Artz Alliance is venturing farther north than ever before with this market. This event is expected to be one of the largest and most exciting endeavors of the alliance this year. John Streetz, head of the Streetz Artz Alliance and cohost for the event, expressed his gratitude, saying, "I am humbled by how many breweries support us in our mission to promote local artists and makers. Collaborating with Phase Three Brewing is a dream come true."

In addition to the diverse range of artists, the market will feature Mamma Mia Pizza, an Italian wood-fired pizza caterer based in the greater Chicago area. They will be onsite, serving freshly made pizzas until sold out or the event concludes. Phase Three Brewing will also showcase their newly released summer beers, including Lake Trip, Marmalade, TDH Triple Low Ceilings, and P3 Pils, ensuring attendees have the perfect libations to complement their artisan finds.

Ample parking is available on-site and on nearby streets, including Donata Court and Oakwood Road. The event organizers encourage attendees to check for any parking restrictions but assure there should be no concerns regarding parking for this event.

"Books and beer are a match made in Heaven," exclaims Zachary Geoffroy, owner of Jeffries Books and one of the artists in the event. "Can't wait for this!"

Local plant artist, Mis Plantitas, will also be present at the market. Mis Plantitas offers a wide variety of houseplants, plant supplies, pottery and locally made artisan items. They provide a knowledgeable shopping experience, offering information to bring healthy, well-cared-for house plants into your home. Look for them in the barrel room during the market to get yourself a houseplant perfect for you.

Bret Juliano, creator of all ages Dust Bunny Mafia comic, is a cartoonist and another one of the artists in this market. Juliano has published three full length Dust Bunny Mafia comic collections, and four volumes of Based on a True Story, a mini comic collection. His dust bunny mobsters have also been seen on playing cards, shirts, and art prints. He is an avid consumer of mafia trivia, both fact and fiction, and a passionate collector of fedoras.

As with many of the Streetz Artz Alliance markets, providing a wide array of artists and mediums is essential, including featuring vintage curators. Pretty Spooky Handmade is one of the vintage vendors at the market, selling one-of-a-kind clothing made from recycled and vintage t-shirts. Rachel Dysangco Thieme, owner of Pretty Spooky Handmade, describes the variety of their products, "Our clothing includes dresses and skirts, shirts, jackets, and vests with backpatches, as well as reusable bags, all made from recycled t-shirts. Genres include bands, sci-fi, superhero, horror, anime, and pop-culture."

"I'm so bummed I can't make it to this market every time I see you post another artist that will be there," commented Terri Ann Macak in the event page discussion. Macak runs her own craft business called "Scary Terri's Crafts" and won't be at this market but she also loves to shop at events like this.
