The Educational Zoo at BioDome is Expanding
BioDome, The Reptile Emporium in Libertyville has a new a new resident in the Zoo!
Introducing Angel!
Angel is our resident Black Dragon. Black Dragons are a specific mutation of Asian Water Monitor that are ALL BLACK due to their hyper melanistic variation. This makes them very distinctive. She is such a sweetie! As a part of the BioDome Educational Zoo, you can come and visit or have her and her friends come to your classroom or party.
At the BioDome, the focus is on education. Alongside the store is an educational zoo that features resident exotic animals. "We love to help families learn about the different animals, what makes them different, what they eat and how they live." This store is all about introducing families to reptiles, amphibians, invertebrates and more. Make sure you ask us which is our favorites and why!
"Our mission is to bring exotic animals to the area the right way. Where the animals are our first priority, up-front and honest communications and fair and honest pricing support keepers at all levels," said Josh Zavatsky, Store Owner at BioDome, The Reptile Emporium.
As a part of their mission, BioDome offers specialty programs, field trips, scout visits and birthday parties.
