Dr. Scott Cabrera of Higgins Sports and Spinal Rehab Takes on Third Ironman Triathlon
Dr. Scott Cabrera, chiropractor at Higgins Sports and Spinal Rehab, is gearing up for his third Ironman triathlon. As a dedicated athlete and healthcare professional, Dr. Cabrera knows the importance of staying active and healthy, not just for himself, but for his patients as well.
The Ironman triathlon, which consists of a 2.4-mile swim, a 112-mile bike ride, and a 26.2-mile run, is considered one of the toughest endurance events in the world. Dr. Cabrera has been training for months to prepare for the challenge, balancing his work as a chiropractor with rigorous physical training.
"As a chiropractor, I see firsthand how important it is to take care of your body," says Dr. Cabrera. "I'm passionate about helping my patients stay healthy and active, and I believe that leading by example is one of the best ways to inspire them."
Dr. Cabrera's commitment to health and fitness goes beyond his work as a chiropractor. He is an active member of the Park Ridge community, and he participates in local charity events and fundraisers whenever he can.
"I believe that being an active member of the community is just as important as being an athlete or a healthcare professional," says Dr. Cabrera. "I want to use my platform as an Ironman triathlete to inspire others to get active and make a positive impact in their own communities."
Dr. Cabrera's dedication to his patients and his community is a testament to his character and his commitment to excellence. We wish him the best of luck as he takes on his third Ironman triathlon, and we are proud to have him as a member of the Park Ridge community.
