ECC Center for Emergency Services to host public safety career fair on April 20

The Elgin Community College Center for Emergency Services is hosting a public safety career fair on Thursday, April 20, at 815 E. Plank Road in Burlington.

Attendees will be able to speak with employers in fire service, emergency medical, law enforcement, and public safety dispatch professions. The event runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

"This event provides an opportunity to network for students and prospective employees to enter the public safety field," said Ronald S. Two Bulls, senior director of academic programming and public safety training. "We had attendees apply and get hired at the fair last semester."

The fair is free to attend and open to the public and those wanting to learn more about starting a career in emergency services.
