Schaumburg seeking Volunteer of the Year nominations by April 3

The village of Schaumburg is accepting nominations for its Volunteer of the Year awards through Monday, April 3.

Recipients will be honored at the 35th annual Volunteer of the Year luncheon Tuesday, April 18, at Chandler's, 401 N. Roselle Road in Schaumburg. TED Speaker and former CEO of Make-A-Wish Greater Bay Area Patricia Wilson will be the guest speaker.

Nominees for Volunteer of the Year, Volunteer Organization of the Year and Youth Volunteer of the Year can represent social, civic, religious, community, school and nonprofit organizations within the village of Schaumburg and Schaumburg Township. Nomination materials are available on the village's website at bit.ly/3wqLGHI. Award recipients will be selected by a panel of judges.
