CLC honors summer and fall 2022 graduates

Graduation day is an important milestone in any student's life, marking the end of an educational journey and the beginning of whatever lies ahead, whether it be continuing their education or starting a job.

College of Lake County gave the newest group of graduates a celebratory send-off during the college's first December commencement ceremony.

More than 1,200 graduates representing 40 academic programs received degrees and certificates, including more than 40 military-affiliated students.

"It's been an amazing experience," graduate Emma Borovka said. "The teachers here are amazing and helped me excel in my career more than I ever anticipated or even knew was possible. I've made lifelong friends, and I'm really proud to be here tonight."

Another graduate, Mia Diaz, said, "I'm just so happy and blessed to be a college student and to have such wonderful people at CLC to help me through it. I don't think I would have made it without their support."
