Streamwood trustee race drops to five candidates
Streamwood resident Ihor Redkva's nominating petitions to run for village trustee in the April 4 election have been determined to be significantly deficient in the number of signatures required and he will not be certified for the ballot, officials say.
That leaves five candidates for the three available positions on the village board.
They are incumbents James P. Cecille and Mary F. Thon, as well as newcomers Nazneen G. Hashmi, Larry W. Rybicki and Harshadkumar Chhatulal Shah.
