Geneva nonprofit offers meditation training and spiritual education

A new resource has opened in Geneva for coping with stress, anxiety, depression, tension, and more. The Delta Foundation For Spiritual Studies is an epicenter of mindful learning, practice, and connecting, with meditation as its core teaching, with in-person, virtual, and blended options available to suit a variety of needs, locations, and busy lifestyles.

As news of current events, demands of work, and societal pressures continue to mount, people are more and more disconnected, despairing, and in need of aid. Delta Foundation provides solutions via guidance toward balance, connectivity, and positive mental, emotional and even physical health.

Everyone is likely to benefit from these trainings and can visit www.deltaspiritualfoundation.org (and its Facebook and Instagram pages) for more information.

Are you eager to find ways to ease stress, find calm, project confidence in yourself, and manifest positivity, despite the challenging climate of today's world?

Delta Foundation For Spiritual Studies, "Where science meets spirit," is a new epicenter of mindful learning, practice, and connecting, with Meditation as its core teaching.

Meditation is so vital yet still so little understood - the introductory courses will edify learners about the basics, benefits, and specifics of regular meditation. Benefits of a meditation practice include positive impacts to one's physical health, such as sleep & blood pressure, one's psychological health, such as anxiety & concentration, and one's emotional health, such as equanimity & self-acceptance.

The Delta Foundation offers courses in three ways in order to meet the needs of busy lifestyles: Virtual (pre-recorded), Blended (in-person and virtual), and In-Person. Guest-expert lectures and other special events will fold into the schedule over time.

As a nonprofit foundation focused on the purity of the mission, profit is not a driving factor. The goal is to share spiritual education and training for the highest good for all. The headquarters in Geneva, Illinois houses the initial in-person courses, with additional sites planned for Asheville, North Carolina, Tulsa, Oklahoma, Austin, Texas, and Seattle, Washington.

Much more than a simple app that relies on the user to do the work, Delta Foundation is practitioner-led and grounded in science. Delta Foundation removes the work of written course assignments and assessments, and allows learners to focus solely on the instruction and practice.

"It is our goal to teach people from any background and from any perspective who want to learn how to connect within, learn, and grow in their spiritual knowledge and practice," notes Karen A. Baker, Psy.D., Delta Foundation CEO and founder, and licensed clinical psychologist and partner/owner of Goodman Psychologist Associates. "Our courses offer a lecture/guidance portion, which is supported by research, and which teaches measurable benefits to the learner."

Delta Foundation has enjoyed public interest through their April and May weekly Open Houses and free 15-minute Mini-Meditation sessions; everyone is invited to contact them via the Delta Foundation for Spiritual Studies website at deltaspiritualfoundation.org, and follow on social media on Instagram and Facebook

in order to learn more, visit the facility, and register.
