Fox Valley Orthopedics helps kids celebrate the holiday season

Physicians and employees at Fox Valley Orthopedics kicked off the holiday season by giving to local children through the Salvation Army Corps in Elgin, Tri-Cities, and Aurora.

Thirty children, ages 1 to 14, will receive gifts from their wish lists.

"Everyone went above and beyond this year," said John Brady, Fox Valley Orthopedics' chief executive officer. "Books, games, and clothes were often given alongside wished-for toys. Staff and patients also gave toys to Cal's Angels using drop-off boxes in our Geneva location."

Throughout the year, Fox Valley Orthopedics participates in community events and sponsors local high schools, little leagues, the Kane County Cougars, and Strikers Soccer, to name a few.

Philanthropy and community service are key components of the practice's mission, with physicians personally choosing which charities to support each year.
