Dr. David Rosenbaum Installed as Chicago Dental Society's North Suburban Branch Director

A practicing dentist for 40 years, with the last 26 years limited to the practice of endodontics, Dr. David S. Rosenbaum, D.D.S, M.S., of Northbrook, Illinois, was installed as Chicago Dental Society's (CDS) North Suburban Branch Director on November 13. Dr. Rosenbaum has held multiple leadership positions within the CDS North Suburban Branch, including Secretary, Treasurer, President-elect, and President.

As North Suburban Branch Director, Dr. Rosenbaum will work with the North Suburban Branch members, drive engagement, recruit new CDS members, and help with preparations for the 158th Midwinter Meeting, taking place from February 23-25 at McCormick Place West in Chicago. The Midwinter Meeting is CDS' annual scientific meeting and one of the dental industry's premier events, offering 2023 attendees access to more than 240 courses taught by world-class speakers and today's leaders in dental innovation, live exhibits, and networking opportunities with colleagues and friends.

Dr. Rosenbaum holds a bachelor's degree from The University of California, Los Angeles and earned his Doctorate of Dentistry and Certificate in Endodontics from Northwestern University Dental School. In 2006, Dr. Rosenbaum was named Diplomate of The American Board of Endodontics. Currently, he runs his own private endodontics practice in Northbrook, Illinois, which he has operated since 2007. In addition to his involvement with CDS, Dr. Rosenbaum is a member of the American Association of Endodontists, American Dental Society, Illinois State Dental Society and Illinois Association of Endodontists, where he has served as Secretary, Treasurer, Vice-President and President. Dr. Rosenbaum was also a clinical instructor in the Department of Operative Dentistry and the Department of Endodontics at Northwestern University Dental School. He also serves as the director of the North Suburban Branch's DENT-IL-PAC, the lobbying committee of ISDS.

Dr. Rosenbaum is a proud father to his children Alyssa, Elliot, Joanna, and Rebecca, and a proud husband to his wife, Donna. In his free time, he enjoys working out, reading science fiction and mystery novels, and singing in his synagogue's Men's Club Choir.

Established in 1864, CDS is the largest local component of the American Dental Association, with more than 4,000 members in Cook, Lake and DuPage counties.
