Real estate pro receives CCIM designation

LAKE IN THE HILLS - Kevin Kaplan, senior broker at Premier Commercial Realty in Lake in the Hills, was honored by the CCIM Institute and their local chapter members, earning the prestigious CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation.

CCIM designation remains the gold standard for commercial real estate professionals, including appraisers, asset managers, brokers, developers, investors, lenders and other allied professionals.

CCIMs complete a rigorous program of advanced coursework and training in financial and market analysis, and demonstrate extensive experience in the commercial real estate industry. The CCIM label pin denotes that the wearer has completed advanced coursework in financial and market analysis and demonstrated extensive experience in the commercial real estate industry.

Of the more than 150,000 commercial real estate professionals in the U.S., only an estimated 6% hold the CCIM designation.

A former high school teacher and coach in the area for 12 years, Kaplan joined Premier Commercial Realty in 2015. He is a native of Cary and the son of longtime Premier Senior Broker Bruce Kaplan. He currently resides in Cary with his wife and three children.
